Healthy Families Initiative

It is important that every child has the resources it needs to be successful.  Much of this is dependent on the parent/primary caregiver’s ability to help support the growth and development of the child from birth through the early adolescent and teen years.

The Mary Black Foundation, through its focus on early childhood development and federal funding through the Office of Adolescent Health are pleased to present the five-year Healthy Families Initiative (HFI).  The HFI seeks to provide common universal language about how important parenting is and that all of us need extra support from time to time.  By expanding ready access to the evidence-based Triple P (Positive Parenting Program) framework, families will be able to receive the right support, at the right time, regardless age of their child or the depth of support needed.
