Each year, the Mary Black Foundation sponsors a variety of events that help us achieve our vision of a welcoming and connected community where all residents can achieve health and well-being. The Foundation sets aside a small amount of approximately $20,000 annually to support these community events through our sponsorship.

Because of the number of events we can sponsor each year is limited, priority will be given to events that:

• Bring community members together, are inclusive, and free to attend.
• Promote health and well-being of Spartanburg residents.
• Align with our focus on young children and their families.
• Provide education or training to Spartanburg-based individuals or organizations working to improve the health and well-being of young children and their families.
