The Mary Black Foundation has launched the Healthy Families Initiative (HFI) in partnership with the Children’s Trust of South Carolina and the Hope Center for Children. To date, 35 practitioners, representing nine (9) organizations, have been trained to deliver Triple P (Positive Parenting Program) services to families across the County. Triple P offers practical strategies for all parents to be able to increase the level of positive engagement with their children.
A Stakeholder’s Meeting will be held tomorrow, June 7, 2017, at the Hope Center for Children. This meeting is designed to engage individual organizations and agencies who may serve as referring partners to the services being offered through this initiative. The HFI offers families access to Seminars, Discussion Groups, and individualized support through the use of the evidence-based Triple P parenting framework.
