2017 marks the beginning of year three of Spartanburg’s journey on its Way to Wellville! In late 2014, Spartanburg was chosen as one of five communities nationally to develop new and innovative solutions that amplify and accelerate community health. Sponsored by HICCup, Spartanburg’s Way to Wellville strives to improve health outcomes in five focus areas: access to care for the uninsured, community pride, health for the insured, kindergarten readiness, and obesity prevention.

The first two years of Spartanburg’s Way to Wellville efforts were very successful and we look to build upon existing momentum. To read some of the highlights, be sure to check out our blog at www.spartanburgwellville.com.

Each year of our challenge, we are committed to hearing from you – Spartanburg’s residents.  To give us your input on health and wellness in Spartanburg, please take part in the annual survey and encourage others to do the same by January 31, 2017.  To access the survey, click HERE.   Your input will help provide data that will inform our initiatives moving forward and help us track progress.

We intend for the Way to Wellville to inspire everyone in our community to create changes that lead to better health. Please join us on our journey to a healthier Spartanburg!
