Hang in there Parents! Help is on the Way.

So much has changed for families since the start of the New Year.  Parents and children have been forced to spend a lot more time indoors and isolated from many of the outlets that help support our overall physical and mental well being.  Despite the changes and uncertainty, parents have the ability to create the stability that allows for continued positive growth and development of the children in their care.  And, we have just the resource to help parents in achieving this goal.

For the past several years the Hope Center for Children (HCFC), in partnership with a number of organizations across the county, has been coordinating parenting supports through the Positive Parenting Program (Triple P).  Due to the pandemic, many of the face-to-face opportunities have been cancelled.  To ensure that parents continue to have access to meaningful information and resources, virtual options have been made available for parents across Spartanburg County.  Additionally, a series of quick tip videos have been released to introduce parents to simple ways to provide the necessary support that children need during these and future times of trial.

In case you missed them, please take a few moments to click on the link and access the library of short video tips for parents.  Videos are available in both English and Spanish.

For more information about Triple P, please visit: https://www.hopecfc.org/triplep.php, or contact Angela Talley Robinson at [email protected]
