We are Growing our Team!

We are excited to welcome two new team members to the Mary Black Foundation this month!

Cassidy Reynolds has been named the Communications and Events Manager and will begin her new role on January 9, 2023. As a formally trained musician and certified music teacher, Cassidy was previously the Assistant Director of a percussion studio in Greenville, SC. In that role, she was responsible for event planning, marketing, social media, and other communications. Cassidy is a native of South Carolina and received a bachelor’s degree from Presbyterian College.

Rochelle Williams will join the Foundation on January 17, 2023, as the Vice President of Strategy and Programs. Most recently, Rochelle served as the Executive Director of the South Carolina Governor’s School for the Arts & Humanities Foundation. Rochelle received her Bachelor of Arts degree in journalism from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, a Certificate in Leadership, Organizing, and Action from Harvard Business School, and is participating in the 2023 class of Liberty Fellowship.

Rochelle has been an active member of the Spartanburg community as a nonprofit consultant and with past roles at Middle Tyger Community Center and PAL. She lives in Spartanburg with her husband and daughter. To reach Rochelle, contact [email protected].
