Period Packing Party TOMORROW!
What: Help assemble period supply packs with The Period Project and Mary Black Foundation. Packs will be distributed to those in need in our community.
When: Wednesday, 5/31, at 5:31pm
Where: Fretwell Spartanburg | 101 Fretwell St, Spartanburg
We are so excited to partner with the Spartanburg Chapter of The Period Project for a special community event and volunteer opportunity.
Join us at Fretwell Spartanburg TOMORROW (5/31 at 5:31) to help us prepare packs of period supplies to distribute in our community. Our goal is to prepare 1,000 packs and we need YOUR help!
*Volunteers will receive 15% off all drinks and complimentary snacks provided by Fretwell.
*Little River Roasting and The Spartan will be open.
*Live music by two local artists, Brittni Blank and Michaela Faye.
*Hear from members of The Period Project Board as well as an update on the “tampon tax” from Representative Rosalyn Henderson-Myers.
We will have plenty of supplies to pack, but donations are always welcome. Donations accepted include:
- tampons
- pads
- liners (individually wrapped)
- hygiene wipes
