Mary Black Foundation Launches New Website
Mary Black Foundation is excited to announce the launch of our new website!
Website Design
Mary Black Foundation’s previous website was designed and launched in 2014. After five years of use, we are excited about the refreshed look and feel of our website. However, instead of just refreshing the look, we asked our local partners to provide us feedback on the existing website’s functionality. In October 2018, we sent out a survey to our local partners to determine what aspects of the website people liked, what they would like to see changed, and if there were any additions that would be helpful or provide greater ease of use. We are very thankful for this feedback as it helped us better focus on the areas and pages our users communicated were the most helpful for them.
Some changes that were made to the site include:
- Updating the Conference Center page and application process
- Adding additional resources
- Updating the look of the blog page and how users can sign up to receive updates
- Adding new and refreshed photos of people and places in Spartanburg
Update to Logo
In addition to creating a new website, we decided to create a tagline for the Mary Black Foundation logo. We believe utilizing a logo with a tagline will assist people with having a better understanding of the work Mary Black Foundation is doing in the community.
