Accepting Grant Applications Nov 1 – Dec 8

Why We’re Doing It

We consider grantmaking to be an investment in Spartanburg, SC that will contribute to improved health, wellbeing, and success. We want to partner with organizations in Spartanburg working diligently to improve health equity in our community.

Opportunity at a Glance

Mary Black Foundation is offering flexible funding for organizations that are working broadly to improve health and wellbeing. Grant applications will be accepted November 1, 2023 through December 8, 2023. Funds will be available in the spring of 2024. The Foundation will award approximately $500,000 during this grant cycle.

Before submitting an application for a grant, interested applicants should:

  • Ensure eligibility
  • Preview required documents

Grant Consultations:

Grant consultations are available, but not required. Members of the program staff are happy to meet with organizations prior to the submission of an application.

Consultations will take place before the application deadline and can be scheduled through Amy Page.

Applications will be accepted November 1, 2023 – December 8, 2023. (A link to the application portal can be found at the bottom of the “Apply” page linked below, but will not be available until November 1, 2023.)
